‘Quadrophenia’ producer: his coming-of-stage story

Yes!  Roger accompanied by Bill Curbishley, The Who’s manager came to rehearsal last Wednesday night and watched us run through QUAD.  We performed it in a private rehearsal facility in Hollywood for him and a number of show business folks, including the great Spencer Davis and longtime Who road team member Cy Langston.  Obviously it was a great thrill to meet Roger, and to perform Quadrophenia for him was really special. He had some very nice things to say about The Who Show, the actors, and the production in general.  He seemed to be enjoying himself and the show. And he is genuinely a really nice guy.
