France DiCarlo, who plays drummer Keith Moon with one of this year’s B.O.T.B. contestants The Who Show, expresses the enthusiasm of a true tribute musician.

“We’re all cut from the same cloth as the musician we’re portraying. After we play, people thank us and tell us it was like seeing The Who in 1970,” DiCarlo says.

The Who Show has been asked to be part of the Long Beach Tribute Band Battle…Rainbow Lagoon — the Battle of the Tribute Bands is back to rock with music hearkening back to the 1970s and 1990s.    The 4th major event of the free downtown concert series called Summer And Music (S.A.M.), the Battle will pit five tribute bands head-to-head from 1 to 6 p.m.
