(6/23/08) Cable TV music network VH1 will be devoting it’s entire 2008 VH1 ROCK HONORS concert telecast to THE WHO. The concert will air on VH1 on 17 July 2008, and will be taped at UCLA’s Pauley Pavillion in Westwood 
California on 12 July 2008. Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Flaming Lips and Incubus will honor THE WHO by perfoming their favorite WHO songs, and THE WHO themselves will close the performance. In honor of this event, and to help celebrate with WHO fans from around the world coming to see the concert, The Who Show has booked Pre- and Post-concert club performances in Los Angeles’ Westside/UCLA area (7/11/08 in Santa Monica, and 7/12/08 in Westwood, walking distance from Pauley Pavillion – go to the Home page for details on the shows). The Who Show has been promoting these celebration gigs as a meeting place for WHO fans to gather while in Los Angeles, and word is speading not only on their many websites and MySpace pages, but also at THE WHO’s official web forum at thewho.com. VH1 is also working directly with THE WHO SHOW to help promote their Los Angeles club appearances; watch for them in the LA WEEKLY VH1 ROCK HONORS THE WHO pullout supplement, at VH1.com, and on news clips on VH1.
